Trip Summary

This tour brings together the essential highlights of Choquequirao with a practical itinerary, guided assistance, and enough flexibility for photos, rest, and local discovery. It is ideal for passengers who want a complete experience with clear planning before and during the trip.

DAY 1 Cachora - Coca Masana - Playa Rosalina

We will start our tour early in the morning with a departure from Cusco in the direction of Cachora. After about four hours of travel, we will arrive in Cachora, where we will have our breakfast. From there, we will continue by car to Coca Masana, where we will begin our hike to Playa Rosalina. During this hike of approximately 5 hours, we will enjoy breathtaking views of the Apurimac River canyon. Upon arrival at Playa Rosalina, we will set up camp and spend the night.

After a hearty breakfast, we will begin our hike to Marampata. During this hike of approximately 6 hours, we will enjoy breathtaking views of the Apurimac River canyon. We will arrive in Marampata in the afternoon, where we will set up camp and spend the night.

After an early breakfast, we will have the whole day to explore the archaeological complex of Choquequirao. We will have a guided tour of the archaeological site, which will take about 4 hours. After the visit, we will have free time to explore the site on our own. In the afternoon, we will return to our camp in Marampata for the night.

After an early breakfast, we will start our hike back to Chiquiska, passing through Santa Rosa and Cachora on the way. The hike will last approximately 8 hours, with breathtaking views of the Apurimac River canyon. We will arrive in Chiquiska in the afternoon, where we will set up camp and spend the night.

After an early breakfast, we will begin our final hike to Cachora, which will last approximately 4 hours. In Cachora, we will board our private transportation to head back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6 pm.
