Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca): Tour Guide to the 7-Color Mountain

Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca): The 7-Color Mountain

The Seven-Color Mountain, known as Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain, is a stunning geological formation in the Peruvian Andes. Its surface displays vivid colored stripes — the result of erosion and the sedimentation of minerals such as iron, sulfur, and magnesite. This natural phenomenon became world-famous in the last decade and now attracts visitors from around the globe. Rated by National Geographic as one of the 100 places to see before you die, it is Cusco’s second most visited destination.

Tour Description

Embark on a unique adventure to the 7-Color Mountain. From the imposing slopes to the streams that wind between them, every corner is bursting with life. Watch alpacas and llamas roaming peacefully in their natural surroundings as you immerse yourself in Andean vegetation that looks like a scene from a film.
